What We’re Reading October 15, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday October 15, 2014.

Dr. Kent Brantly is awesome. He was the Dr. brought back from Africa to Atlanta after contracting Ebola in West Africa. Since beating the virus he has donated his blood to three different Ebola victims.

Hey Georgia Republicans! The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is giving up on Kentucky and shifting all of that cash towards winning in Georgia… the Georgia GOP better be ready to respond!

2014 HAS TO BE a good year for Republicans… otherwise 2016 starts looking very bleak. The National Journal says that Republicans have every reason to be optimistic, but with several of the races rated as pure “toss-ups,” this midterm election could still be anything from a HUGE Republican wave to a Crushing Democrat Victory.

No, the Democrats have not won the Culture War — the battlefields have just changed.

Please, please, please… explain this to me, my friends. Why is Mitt Romney the guy that the largest group of Republicans want to see run for President in 2016? We already saw that show… it didn’t end well.

Guess what? If you have $3,650, including the value of your home, you are among the wealthiest half of people on the PLANET!

California better get ready for some major earthquake action… this is just one more reason that I’ll never live in California.

OPEC is getting antsy as Oil Prices have seen a sharp decline of late.

Are you ready for human life on Mars? Well, new information says that humans can only survive there for 68 days or so…

Marriage rates have hit an ALL TIME LOW.
