We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday October 9, 2014.
Wow. There is a lot going on with Ebola – first, the CDC is warning that it is quite possible, but not probable, that the virus may go airborne. Experts are also warning that the USA needs to protect Latin America from Ebola as well – if Ebola were to hit Latin America it could precipitate mass illegal migration into the United States! The first person to contract Ebola outside Africa was a nurse in Madrid, Spain – now officials are looking into HOW it happened. Spain is a tense place to be right now as the people wait in fear and trepidation.
Oh boy… you know things are bad for Obama when Jimmy Carter starts criticizing his Middle East policies! The former President says the current President “blew it” on ISIS!
President Obama is the loneliest person during the 2014-midterm elections. For some reason, his fellow Democrats don’t want him around while they try to win their election fights. If you have to hide your leader during an election, doesn’t that mean that your constituents don’t like your policies?
It’s happened again – another conservative, this time the producer of an anti-Obamacare movie, is being audited by the IRS!
In Ferguson and St. Louis things are still tense. The Cardinals won their playoff series on Tuesday night, but after the game mostly black demonstrators began Ferguson/Michael Brown chants…. which were met by pro-Darren Wilson (the Officer who shot Brown) chants. In Ferguson, Missouri the white residents feel mostly shell-shocked by everything that has transpired in the last few months.
Homeschool families! Watch out because liberals are coming for your kids.
We’ve seen it all! On Tuesday night Sean Hannity said, “I think Bill Maher’s Good for America!” Wow.
