What We’re Reading September 27, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday September 27, 2014.

Now, Wikipedia is turning on conservatives. The popular encyclopedia site is doing its best to shut down conservative dissent – by pretending we don’t exist.

Um. Why? Carly Fiorina is considering making a 2016 run for the White House. The National Journal thinks that she’s the only Republican woman with a serious shot this time around – but one has to wonder, why? She’s a moderate California Republican who won’t win over social conservatives or libertarian conservatives… in fact, the only people she likely appeals to are the Jon Huntsman GOP crowd and they already have him.

Ross Douthat of the New York Times wants to explain to everyone why it is that we’re still taking about 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Nate Silver and the guys at Five-Thirty-Eight see troubling signs for Democrats in Colorado.

The media is working hard to sensationalize active shooter incidents and are twisting facts to make it seem like mass shootings are on the rise… they are not.

The FBI is mad that Apple and Google care more about our Constitutional rights than the government does.
