One of the worst things about flying is going through security.
My mother and sister-in-law flew from Houston to Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. My mother is 92 years old. She walks with a cane. She had no problem going through security in Houston. On their flight back to Houston from Pittsburgh, she and my sister-in-law had no problem going through security. Then the flight was cancelled.
When they went through security the next day, my mother, who had an expired driver’s license, was denied passage.
The expired license had her picture, date of birth, and the usual security features and worked in Houston and in Pittsburgh for the cancelled flight.
Security management was called, and, after a lot of verbal back and forth, my mother was permitted to pass. You don’t want to mess with my sister-in-law.
What changed? No one knows.
At the same time, illegal aliens are being moved all over the United States without any identification…
