We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday July 7, 2014.

Has anyone else ever noticed how liberals seem to fall in love with RINOs before elections, only to abandon them as “horrible” people when election time rolls around? Well, they’re doing it again – trying to convince Republicans that Mitt Romney is our best (read: only) hope.

The Obama administration has stopped enforcing the law – they just don’t seem to like deporting young illegal immigrants.

States across the country are considering drastic measures in an effort to curb mass shootings – including passing state laws allowing the seizure of firearms from private citizens.

Even liberals are now giving up on parts of Obamacare.

More and more liberal activists and policy experts who help shape Democratic thinking on health care have concluded that penalizing businesses if they don’t offer health insurance is an unnecessary element of the Affordable Care Act that may do more harm than good. 

Some Seattleites are trying to pull back the reins on the city council’s decision to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Researchers have tied China’s high abortion rate of female children to a similarly high crime rate among single men.

Gertrude Weaver is 116 years old and the world’s second oldest living person.
