We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday June 7, 2014.
Most Americans believe that the Obama administration made the wrong move in negotiating with the Taliban to recover Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. There is some evidence that the Obama administration also paid a cash bounty to get Bergdahl back. The liberal media is acting foolish over the entire Bergdahl incident, and it will come back to bite them. Republican icon Charles Krauthammer has the consensus Republican opinion on the Bergdahl incident, and it is far from the anti-Bergdahl opinion the liberals would like you to believe it is. Most Republicans are glad to see Bergdahl home safely… but also believe he should be tried for desertion and any other crimes he may have committed.
President Obama is destroying Democrat hopes at retaining the Senate in 2014.
The Democrats’ “War on Women” strategy is still working… but might not be for much longer.
GOProud has fallen apart – which everyone could have probably guessed was going to happen.
Senator Rand Paul said something super-awesome during his recent speech to the Texas Republican Convention –
“Mr. President, you love to trade people… Why don’t we set up a trade? But this time, instead of five Taliban, how about five Democrats? I’m thinking John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi …”
I love Rand Paul.
Justin Amash is exactly the kind of man we should all want representing us. He is the best representative in Washington, D.C. today. Hands down.
