Female Workers for Left-Wing Internet Giant Google Claiming Sex Harassment in Workplace

Google is known as one of the most woke, left-wing corporations in America. And yet, it apparently has a sex discrimination problem and a number of female employees are about to hold a work stoppage in protest.

It seems that many of the company’s female employees think that Google has failed the #MeToo test over the actions of one of the search giant’s top executives who has not really been disciplined despite charges that he may have assaulted a female employee.

Employees are incensed that the executive’s actions were covered up by Google bosses and he was even offered a golden parachute on the way out once they finally decided to fire him.

According to BuzzFeed:

In a new email, Google CEO Sundar Pichai told employees that he supports the planned “women’s walk” to protest issues of sexual misconduct at the company.

A group of more than 200 engineers at Google are organizing a companywide “women’s walk” walkout for later this week to protest recent revelations about the search giant’s protection of employees that had allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct, according to four people familiar with the situation inside Google.

The protest, which is expected to happen on Thursday, comes in light of a story by the New York Times last week into the alleged misbehavior of Android creator Andy Rubin and other executives at the company, some of whom still have positions of prominence at Google.

Yikes. It must be bad if the CEO says he “supports” the walkout!

So, what is really at issue, here?

HotAir explains:

While it sounds like there were more people involved, the primary complaint centers on Android creator Andy Rubin. He left the company in 2014, receiving glowing reviews from former CEO Larry Page. What wasn’t publicized was that the married Android developer had been “involved” with a female employee. And the story of the involvement included phrases like “coerced oral sex in a hotel room.”

Adding more salt to the wound was the fact that while Google could have shown him the door with his pockets empty, they paid out a $90M severance package to him for all of his outstanding work. If that’s their idea of accountability for someone behaving that badly it’s no wonder the female engineers are on the warpath.

It took a few years for this all to boil over, but many female employees of Google are now fit to be tied.

The walk out will slow Google to a crawl and there is no indication how long it will last.

But, it is rich, indeed, that the most left-wing company in the nation is being felled by left-wing activism and its failure to abide by progressive ideals!
