The incident occurred when Trump, Jr., appeared at the Turning Point USA Young Black Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., on Thursday evening, Daily Caller reported.

This first annual summit featured hundreds of young black conservatives from across the nation who gathered in D.C. to listen to a group of speakers regale them on the principles of conservatism.

“Don Jr. opened up the event with a speech about the president’s accomplishments for all Americans, including black Americans,” Daily Caller reported.

The crowd was totally enthused by the event.

The crowd called out “USA, USA” during the speech and also chanted “Build The Wall.”

At one point, when Trump, Jr., was discussing the historically low unemployment for the black community, one black student yelled out, “I’m off the plantation.”

The phrase is well-worn for conservatives who describe black people who have stopped supporting liberals as having gone off the liberal plantation.
