Democrat Darling Michael Avenatti Evicted from Offices, Ordered to Pay $4.85 Million Settlement

Democrat darling and well-known creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti had a very bad day on Monday. The self-appointed 2020 Democrat candidate for president lost two major suits, one causing him to be booted from his offices and a second forcing him to pay millions to a former employee.

Early on Monday, a California judge ordered Avenatti to pay $4.85 million to a former lawyer employed who argued he was underpaid while in Avenatti’s employ.

Then the creepy porn lawyer was evicted from his offices at Fashion Island mall after a judge affirmed that Avenatti missed four months of rent payments.

According to the Washington Examiner:

In the first case, Superior Court Judge Dennis Landin said Avenatti had to personally pay the $4.85 million because he guaranteed a settlement with former employee, Jason Frank, the Associated Press reported.

Landin turned down Avenatti’s request to have the case moved to federal court before making his ruling. Frank’s legal representation said the tactic was an attempt to delay the ruling.

The law firm was previously ordered to pay $10 million to Frank, but the $4.85 million owed by Avenatti is the first time he is being held personally liable in the case, in which Frank has said he was owed millions after the firm misstated its profits.

The above are not the only judgments that Avenatti has been ordered to pay but has never made a move to fulfill.

“In July, the Justice Department accused Avenatti of making misrepresentations in the bankruptcy case and said his former law firm owed more than $440,000 in unpaid federal taxes,” the AP reported.

Another report finds that he owes the IRS $1.2 million in unpaid taxes.

According to Vice:

Michael Avenatti—Stormy Daniels’s lawyer and 2020 presidential hopeful—personally owes the IRS $1.2 million, according to a new report from the Daily Beast. Additionally, his former law firm, Eagan Avenatti, and his now defunct Seattle coffee chain reportedly owe millions in taxes, as well as hundreds of thousands in unpaid rent.

As Eagle Rising noted on Monday, Avenatti is now accused of using money he should have been paying the IRS to fund his lavish lifestyle.
