Per Fox News:
President Trump accepted Nikki Haley’s resignation as UN ambassador, Fox News has confirmed.
It’s unclear why Haley resigned. The former governor of South Carolina was confirmed as UN Ambassador four days after Trump was inaugurated in January 2017. Trump is expected to speak at the Oval Office at 10:30 a.m.

This is surprising news as Haley has been a leading voice for Donald Trump’s foreign policy agenda at the United Nations.
She has also become a conservative favorite since going to the U.N.
Just to name a few of her recent actions that garnered praise from conservatives:
In September, Haley blasted John Kerry for his anti-American meetings with foreign operatives behind the Trump administrations back.
Haley said, “What Secretary Kerry did was not only disrespectful, it was hurtful to America.”
Then the ambassador warned both Syria and Russia that the U.S. was “locked and loaded” and ready to respond to them if they get belligerent.
She also shocked our enemies when she sent out invitations to a U.S. reception only to the 65 countries who backed the United States in the U.N.’s General Assembly to denounce Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.
And she warned one and all that “we will remember this” when the U.N. pushed that resolution denouncing the U.S.A. for moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
She will definitely be missed as our representative in the U.N.
