Rasmussen Poll: 71% Of American Voters Think Politicians Only Raise Race Issues To Get Elected

A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds that 71% of Likely U.S. Voters think most politicians raise racial issues to get elected, not to address real problems.

The reality is that whatever lingering racial problems that are still in America are beyond the ability of government to do anything about. Anything they do propose is just going to make things worse because it’s up to individuals.

Make no mistake, race problems are still bad, and Barack Obama made them much worse. Thankfully, President Trump is winning over the black vote. Nothing is more convincing than a fulltime job.

As campaigning for November’s midterm elections ramps up, voters are split over the level of racial discussions on the campaign trail but think those issues only come up in the first place to get votes.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 71% of Likely U.S. Voters think most politicians raise racial issues to get elected, not to address real problems. Just 15% think they raise those issues because they want to address real problems, but 14% are undecided.

The Democrats still have most of black America convinced that racism is all that’s holding them back. At the same time, they have them convinced that ‘welfare’ is their only way out of the ghetto but it’s really what’s holding them there for generations.
