What We’re Reading May 17, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

Even if we can find them – can military forces actually bring back “our girls”? Oh by the way… hashtags are not the answer.

The answer seems rather simple. It depends on whether you have the power to do something about the outrage in question. If you do, as in the case of the Obama administration watching Russia’s slow-motion dismemberment of Ukraine, it’s simply embarrassing when the State Department spokeswoman tweets the hashtag #UnitedForUkraine.

President Obama’s plan to control skyrocketing healthcare costs may actually end up costing Americans even more!

John Kerry says that the Obama administration isn’t going to act like idiots this time around! If Syria uses chemical weapons again the USA will NOT draw any red lines…

Can Mark Pryor (D-AR) actually survive and win reelection? The Republicans have a great candidate in Tom Cotton but in a race everyone thought would be a runaway… the Democrat incumbent still clings to a lead.

A former jihadist with Al Qaeda is now a high ranking security service member in Yemen. And he’s not the only former jihadist working security there…

Female politicians get judged by their looks… quickly.

This is how you make fun of MSNBC and get them to help you broadcast it!
