Conservative Facebook Employees Unite Against ‘Intolerant’ Left-Wing Culture

A group of conservatives who work for Facebook have come out swinging against the fascist liberal culture oppressing them (and all of us) at the social media giant.

According to a report by The New York Times, a group of some 100 conservative-leaning Facebook employees have gathered together to form a support group to stand up against their left-wing bosses.

The existence of the group became known after a notice appeared on the company’s internal message board entitled, “We Have a Problem With Political Diversity.”

According to reports:

“We are a political monoculture that’s intolerant of different views,” Brian Amerige, a senior Facebook engineer, wrote in the post, which was obtained by The New York Times. “We claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack — often in mobs — anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology.”

Since the post went up, more than 100 Facebook employees have joined Mr. Amerige to form an online group called FB’ers for Political Diversity, according to two people who viewed the group’s page and who were not authorized to speak publicly. The aim of the initiative, according to Mr. Amerige’s memo, is to create a space for ideological diversity within the company.

The new group has upset other Facebook employees, who said its online posts were offensive to minorities. One engineer, who declined to be identified for fear of retaliation, said several people had lodged complaints with their managers about FB’ers for Political Diversity and were told that it had not broken any company rules.

Another employee said the group appeared to be constructive and inclusive of different political viewpoints. Mr. Amerige did not respond to requests for comment.

The fact is, Google has a tolerance and a free speech problem, but not just against their users. Also inside their own corporate culture, it appears.

Recently President Trump slammed social media for its un-American desire to quash the free speech of its users.

The president slammed social media in comments made during a meeting with reporters on Wednesday:

I think Google is really taking advantage of a lot of people and I think that is a very serious thing and it is a very serious charge. I think what Google and what others are doing, if you look at what is going on with Twitter and if you look at what’s going on in Facebook, they better be careful because you can’t do that to people. You can’t do it.

We have tremendous; we have literally thousands and thousands of complaints coming in. And you just can’t do that. And so I think that Google and Twitter and Facebook, they are really treading on very, very troubled territory and they have to be careful. It is not fair to large portions of the population.

As each month passes, we see more and more evidence that these social media giants have thrown in the the Democrat Party and are using their powers to quash conservatives, Christians and Republicans, and to help Democrats get elected.
