UFC Fighting Chief Dana White: ‘I Will NEVER Talk Bad About Trump’

Ultimate Fighting Championship chief Dana White is one person in the sports world who will never, ever attack President Donald Trump.

White recently noted that Trump is a friend to the UFC organization and he will never turn his back on such a good friend.

“I’m never going to say anything bad about Donald Trump — ever. Ever, ever, ever. That guy gave us our start when nobody would talk to us,” White said according to Fox News.

“No arenas wanted us. [Trump] reached out and he’s always been a friend to me,” White added. “The guy’s always been a friend to me. Donald Trump has never done anything remotely negative to me, ever — except try to compete with me.”

Indeed, Breitbart News recently reported that Trump will feature prominently in an upcoming documentary about the 25-year history of the UFC.

As the UFC gears up to celebrate its 25th anniversary, reports say that President Donald Trump will feature prominently in a documentary about the organization’s history.

The fighting organization plans to release 25 short documentary films chronicling its quarter of a century featuring all its biggest highlights. One of those films will reportedly praise Donald Trump for embracing the UFC when many others shunned the organization, according to MMA Weekly.

Trump was one of the few property owners who allowed the UFC to host fights in his casinos and hotels, at a time when the group faced steep prohibitions in most states all across the nation.

And both White and UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington visited Trump in the White House to celebrate Covington’s recent belt title.

The UFC has also signaled that they back Trump before White’s most recent comments.

Again, per Breitbart News:

President Trump has been a big booster of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and, according to a new BuzzFeed article, many in the UFC are all in for the president in return.
For BuzzFeed, Tarini Parti noted in an April 23 article that Donald Trump has been supporting the UFC since the early 2000’s. Some lawmakers began to denigrate the sport as “human cockfighting,” but Trump stepped up when lawmakers began making noises about banning or heavily regulating the sport. Trump, Parti noted, held two UFC events 20 years ago at his Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

Now, Parti reports, “the former co-owners of UFC are returning the favor: Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta III, who sold UFC for $4 billion in 2016, have quickly become among the president’s biggest, early re-election supporters.”

The Fertitta brothers are grateful to Trump who “had their back when a lot of others didn’t.”

So, while other sports leagues run away from Donald Trump, the UFC is running toward him.
