CNN analyst Phil Mudd exploded during a segment after conservative commentator Paris Dennard expressed support for the Trump administration’s decision to revoke security clearances of former Obama officials who no longer work in the government and who have been accused of leaking information.
Scary how this guy who doesn’t understand what is being said to him and how he has no control of his emotions actually has a clearance. Maybe there should be more of an evaluation of can have them.

As Twitchy told you, 60 former intelligence officials have signed a letter condemning the revocation of former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance. Meanwhile, during a related discussion yesterday, CNN counterterrorism analyst and former CIA official Phil Mudd certainly did not appreciate commentator Paris Dennard’s defense of President Trump revoking John Brennan’s clearance, not to mention his claims that former intelligence officials can monetize their clearances. Hold on to something sturdy and watch. More
“A lot of these people that have these security clearances — and this is the secret in the swampy Washington, D.C. — they have them and they keep them because it’s profitable for them after they leave government,” Paris Dennard said. “Because if you have a security clearance, especially a high-level security clearance, your contracts and consulting gigs pay you a lot more money because of the access that you have.”
“Profitable, Paris?” Mudd began.
“When I’m required to sit on an advisory board, let me ask you one question, how much do you think I’m paid to do that at the request of U.S. government?” Mudd screamed. “Give me one answer, and you’ve got ten seconds. I have no contracts with the U.S. government. They pay me zero.” More
If he doesn’t have contracts with the US government, why does he NEED his security clearance? Just asking…
Touched a nerve there didn’t he?????????

Think Mudd just proved the point that ex security people SHOULD lose their clearance when they leave their position!! I wouldn’t trust him with sensitive info.
