Media Ignores TN Dem. Steve Cohen Saying Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn Should Commit Suicide

With the media wringing its hands over the #MeToo movement, it may surprise you that no one in the mainstream media seems too worried that Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen said Republican Marsha Blackburn should commit suicide.

Wouldn’t this be the very definition of the sort of “violent rhetoric” against women that the #MeToo types are supposed to be so exercised over? And yet, the mainstream media is giving this male Democrat a pass.

In a story published Friday morning by the left-leaning Huffington Post, reporter Kevin Robillard released video of Democratic Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen suggesting that fellow Tennessee Congresswoman and Republican senatorial candidate Marsha Blackburn should kill herself.

“The big orange President — that’s not somebody from Knoxville. He’s going to come down here and he is going to endorse Marsha Blackburn, because Marsha Blackburn, if he says, ‘Jump off the Harahan Bridge,’ she’ll jump off the Harahan Bridge. I wish he’d say that. She will do anything he says,” Cohen declared.

And yes, readers, this is the same Congressman who told corrupt FBI agent Peter Strzok that he should receive a Purple Heart for the criticism, inquiries, and investigations he’s faced by the Republican Congress and in the public arena.

According to Robillard, “Cohen was appearing at a community prayer breakfast at the Broadway Baptist Church in Memphis hosted by former Gov. Phil Bredesen’s campaign for Senate” when he made the remarks in question, which the crowd ate up in laughter.

Cohen is dismissing his hate-filled comment as “just humor,” naturally.

This Cohen is quite a scumbag, too.

He has variously called for the military to implement a coup against out government, yet also demeaned our troops by saying that FBI criminal Peter Strzok should be awarded a Purple Heart for trying to take Trump down. In another recent case he attacked a black person calling her “ignorant” merely because she is a pro-life activist.

In fact, this guy is such a low life that he thought he was the illegitimate father of a bikini model who he ignored for most of his life. It later turned out he was not the woman’s bio-dad.

This guy has a long, long list of this sort of nonsense.

But what about the #MeToo folks? Shouldn’t this Cohen guy be exactly the sort of creep they might target?

Of course not. He’s a Democrat, after all.
