What We’re Reading May 9, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday May 9, 2014.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) will be heading up the select committee that will be investigating Benghazi. He wants Americans to know that this will not be a political witch hunt because Americans deserve the truth when it comes to what happened in Benghazi.

George Will wonders about our current culture that we can’t handle prayer on the courthouse steps. For over two hundred years of American history and tradition prayer and thanksgiving has been an integral part of our political system… so what’s changed?

A Wisconsin Court rules once again in favor of Governor Scott Walker against some incredibly unscrupulous legal attacks from state liberals.

Why are Americans travelling less than we have in the past… and what does that mean for our future?

Are we witnessing the end of employer sponsored healthcare?

An amazing 10% of Tea Party donors were audited by the IRS!

Should we be cheerleading a Jeb Bush run for the White House?

Some liberals are trying to turn fans of the show Firefly against it… because one of the actors on the show is a conservative Republican (gasp).
