What We’re Reading April 28, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday April 28, 2014.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. Take time to remember the victims of that horrible genocide. Never again can a crime like that be allowed to take place.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the country’s annual memorial day for the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust by issuing a stern warning Sunday to the world to learn the lessons of the past and prevent another Holocaust.

Our prayers go out to the folks dealing with the monster storms that are wreaking havoc throughout the Midwest. At least nine people have been killed and many more injured in a series of storms moving through the central part of our nation.

Republican leader Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (R-WA) has gone on record as admitting that she thinks Obamacare is here to stay and Republicans should begin trying to reform it instead of repealing it. She also believes that amnesty is on its way and should be passed by August.

Obamacare has effectively killed one-doctor clinics.

Is America hurting itself by overreacting to individual accounts of racism?

Science cannot disprove God.

Hillary Clinton is not as strong a candidate as everyone pretends she is…
