What We’re Reading April 23, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday April 23, 2014.

President Bill Clinton and his minions were quite worried about how the internet would democratize America and take some of the propaganda power away from the main stream media. In personal White House memos, they openly worried about their mainstream media allies losing the power to influence. It’s simply more proof of what conservatives already know… the broadcast news networks and the major newspapers are all in the pocket of the Democrat Party.

Thomas Sowell is a genius. In his latest piece he explains how liberal policies make everything more expensive and because of this liberal policies actually make life much harder for middle class and poor families… not easier, as liberals would like to pretend.

Important Common Core supporter InBloom, a non-profit funded by Bill and Melinda Gates, has announced that it is shutting its doors.

Finally we have proof! Aliens do cause Global Warming!

California liberals try to pretend that they have a corner on being “open-minded” but of course, it’s just not true. If it were, conservatives wouldn’t be such a persecuted minority there. Recently an up and coming leader at Stanford attempted to put on a conference on marriage and family from a conservative perspective, and all she had to end up doing was moving heaven and earth to get Stanford to let her do it. It shouldn’t be this tough to hear opposing viewpoints at a University… where opposing viewpoints are supposed to be tolerated.

I have the next book I plan on reading all picked out. It’s a great book from Leo Tolstoy called The Kingdom of God is within You. It’s Tolstoy’s manifesto on Christian Anarchy and Pacifism.
