Quick, name one celebrity who faced death threats for simply saying that they agreed with some of the things President Obama said or did?
Could you name one?
Not even one?
No, of course not. That would be crazy, right?
It would be completely ridiculous for someone to threaten a celebrity with death (for almost any reason, really) for simply voicing some level of support for President Obama.
Sadly, the same can’t be said when a Hollywood celebrity offers support for President Trump.
Rapper Kanye West has been in the news recently for saying that he “loves” the way Candace Owens, an African-American Trump supporter, thinks. He then followed that up by saying that he loves Donald Trump, even though he doesn’t agree with everything he says or does. Finally, after receiving a wave of hatred from the left, the Hollywood elite, and other black liberals… Kanye doubled down and defended his free-thinking ways. (He even began quoting iconic conservative thinker Thomas Sowell!)

Apparently, not everyone thought it was awesome, because Kanye is now facing some very real, and very scary death threats… and they’re coming from his own Los Angeles (and entertainment) based community.
A former member of rapper Snoop Dogg’s entourage was calling for Crips gang members to attack Kanye in the wake of his support of President Donald Trump.
Daz Dillinger, who recorded several successful hip hop records as part of Tha Dogg Pound duo in the 1990s, made the apparent threat in a video posted to his Instagram, which was later removed.
“Yo national alert, all the Crips out there, y’all f— Kanye up,” he said, referring to the infamous Los Angeles-area street gang.
Dillinger – whose real name is Delmar Drew Arnaud – also warns West to stay out of Long Beach and California, even though the Wests famously live in upscale Calabasas in the northwest San Fernando Valley.
“Better not ever see you in concert. Better not ever see you around the LBC. Better not ever see you around California,” he says in the video. “Stay in Calabasas, ya hear me? ‘Cuz we got a Crip alert for Kanye.”
A message reading “F— KANYE UP” was also posted on Dillinger’s verified Twitter account.
It really is important to note that Kanye has never voiced support for any specific policy that President Trump has pursued.
In fact, the only thing Kanye has said is that he defend free-thinking, loves all people (including Donald Trump), and that he doesn’t agree with everything that anyone thinks.=
I guess this is the world we live in now, where even tacit support of a Republican politician can get you beat up… or worse.
