“I am here to tell you one thing. Iran lied. After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files.”
— Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
On Monday afternoon the world learned that Israeli intelligence had discovered more than 100,000 Iranian documents that prove the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA – a treaty signed by a multi-lateral group of nations including the USA and Iran) is based on Iranian lies.
In what may be one of the greatest feats of intelligence gathering and espionage, Israeli operatives were able to secret away more than a ton (literally) of classifed Iranian intelligence detailing their secret nuclear aspirations, known as Project Amad.
The Iranians had hidden the thousands upon thousands of pages of documentation, blueprints, schematics, videos, and reports in a secret facility in Tehran, but just last week Israeli intelligence operatives were able to sneak a massive amount of that data out of Iran.
"We've shared this material with the United States and the United States can vouch for the authenticity," Netanyahu says of Iran's files recovered by Israeli intelligence. https://t.co/FUU9NJgS1g pic.twitter.com/rrfPro3lZS

What those documents prove is that Iran lied, and the threat of a nuclear weaponized Iran remains very real, and extremely terrifying.
“Iran did not come clean on its nuclear program… the deal is based on lies.”
Netanyahu then showed the world the ORIGINAL Iranian presentation, proving that they had never stopped (and never intended to stop) their nuclear weapons program.
“After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret nuclear files. In 2017 Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran…
We’ve known for years that Iran had a secret nuclear weapons program called Project Amad.
We can now prove that project Amad was a comprehensive program to design, build and test nuclear weapons. We can also prove that Iran is secretly storing project Amad material to use at a time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons…
Iran lied about never having a secret nuclear program…
Secondly, even after the deal, Iran continued to expand its nuclear program for future use…
Thirdly, Iran lied again in 2015 when it didn’t come clean to the IAEA as required by the nuclear deal…
And finally, the nuclear deal is based on lies. It’s based on Iranian lies and Iranian deception.
Here’s the bottom line, Iran continues to lie.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel had already shared the information with the United States, and that US intelligence had verified its authenticity, but he promised that Israel would soon be sharing the information with their European allies and the IAEA.
The question now is, ‘what will President Trump do’?
The last time he had the opportunity to rip up the Iran Deal, he chose not to. This time he has every reason to revisit and amend that decision, and it seems likely that he will.
