David Hogg wants to pressure advertisers to stop supporting Laura Ingraham’s show.
David Hogg has been brashly trashing everyone who is older than him or disagrees with him as ignorant and incompetent. Now that a Fox News show host has mocked his own abilities, Hogg wants advertisers to cease supportiong Laura Ingraham’s show. Some may find mocking Hogg for being rejected by four colleges to be lacking in taste. Hogg himself made that argument and the media broadcast it for him.
But having a platform to argue with Laura Ingraham is not enough. Hogg wants to use pressure to shut her up. I assume most advertisters will ignore this pressure because they need to spread awareness of their products and Ingraham’s show is a way to do that. But one is pretending her behavior is problematic.
Why isn’t Hogg’s behavior problematic? Why is it encouraged by the media?
