Kathleen Sebelius Resigns as Director of HHS

If you’re like me, then your first thought when learning that Kathleen Sebelius, Director of Health and Human Services, was resigning was probably, “It’s About Time.” And of course, it is about time.

Sebelius has been at the helm of one of America’s greatest policy disasters in our nation’s storied history. She has been the face of one of the most divisive and destructive big government maneuvers this planet (not just this country) has ever seen. We are the third largest (by population) nation in the world and the wealthiest nation the world has ever seen. So the government takeover of such a large portion of our economy is one of the most historic moments in world history. Sadly, it’s momentous for all the wrong reasons.

Because of Obamacare Sebelius never had a chance to be anything but an abject failure at her job. She was doomed from the start, and I would venture to guess her part in our story will be lost to history thanks to her utterly dismal performance.

I don’t wish ill on anyone, but I’ll be honest and say that I haven’t any remorse upon seeing Sebelius walk away from the White House… other than being sad this didn’t happen sooner.

Adios, Secretary Sebelius. Walk away into retirement knowing that you’ve played a huge part in the destruction of our economy, the battering of our liberty, and the weakening of our great nation.

Goodbye and good riddance.
