Texas Republican Says Attorney General Eric Holder Should be in Prison

One has to wonder if all of the good, decent and law abiding politicians with intestinal fortitude come from Texas.

On Tuesday Attorney General Eric Holder had a high profile run-in with Texas Representative Louis Gohmert… but he was also taken to task by Representative Blake Farenthold who also hails from Texas.

“I’m committed to maintaining the Constitutional balance of power and the authority that this legislative branch has, and I just don’t think it’s appropriate that Mr. Holder be here. If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department’s subpoenas, they would be in jail and not sitting here in front of me, testifying.”

Oh. Snap.

Did you hear that? A Congressman from the great State of Texas just told Eric Holder he wouldn’t talk to him because the dude should be in jail!

Way to say what every Republican across the country is thinking, Representative Farenthold.
