What We’re Reading April 4, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday April 4, 2014.

Hillary Clinton said in a speech last night that “partisanship was taking us backwards no forward.” As usual she’s wrong. Partisanship causes gridlock – which means “no movement.” What many people don’t realize is that we really move backward when the two major parties agree on stuff and start spending our money like it’s going out of style.

Americans believe that 75% of politicians are corrupt and 70% of them would use their political power to hurt their enemies!

Democrats and establishment Republicans agree on amnesty – now their trying to figure out how to convince the rest of America to go along with it. Their first attempt? Letting millionaires complain that they need more migrant labor. (These millionaires are forgetting that Democrats are pushing a minimum wage hike too – so the migrant labor won’t be so cheap anymore.)

Mozilla CEO resigns because of pressure from the fascist gay lobby who don’t respect other people’s views.

After yet another military base shooting – some lawmakers are fighting to let soldiers carry their firearms on base.

The Drudge Report is very popular with Tesla drivers.

Physics students at the University of Leicester prove that Noah’s Ark would have worked just fine.

Chicago’s middle class has disappeared.

David Letterman is saying goodnight.
