In the Iowa Army National Guard. She has served her fellow Iowans as a State Senator and is now looking to become the next US Senator from Iowa, taking over for retiring Democrat Tom Harkin. This past week Mitt Romney boosted her chances by endorsing her in the upcoming primary and following election.
