The Best Campaign Commercial Ever?

We’ve seen some good campaign commercials in recent years but this one may take the cake… and it’s all because of the commercial’s opening line.

I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm. So in Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork…

I kid you not.

Joni Ernst is a mother and grandmother. She has spent more than 20 years in the Army Reserves, including spending a tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She currently serves as a Lt. Col. In the Iowa Army National Guard. She has served her fellow Iowans as a State Senator and is now looking to become the next US Senator from Iowa, taking over for retiring Democrat Tom Harkin. This past week Mitt Romney boosted her chances by endorsing her in the upcoming primary and following election.

Washington’s full of big spenders…let’s make ‘em squeal.
