Dreams of Obama: A Million Obamas against “Old Men” in Power

Barack Obama says he wants to create a million Obamas and he wants (needs?) them to be young.

Showing how much progressives are strategizing to use a children’s crusade to overturn America, Obama stated his goal was to convert young people into as many and “a million … Obamas.”

How young do these multitudes of “young Barack Obamas or Michelle Obamas” need to be? Barack Obama himself encouraged high school students to engage in activism (i.e. public insults) against the Second Amendment. As CNN reported,

Former President Barack Obama tweeted his support for students marching across the US to demand gun control, telling them they’re leading the charge.

“Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen,” the tweet said. “Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.”

In fact, manipulating the young (and flattering them by claiming they’re “leading us forward” rather than being used) is now an official strategy. As The Hill reported, “Obama reportedly made the comment at a conference in Japan while discussing the Obama Foundation’s work to help young people around the world get connected using the internet.”

Obama even dismissed “old men,” trying to suck up to David Hogg and his youthful arrogance.

The Washington Examiner reports, “Obama envisions creating ‘a million young Barack Obamas’ during speech in Japan.

“If I could do that effectively, then […] I would create a hundred or a thousand or a million young Barack Obamas or Michelle Obamas,” Obama said. “Or, the next group of people who could take that baton in that relay race that is human progress.”

During the discussion, Obama acknowledged the great potential that young people have in making a difference, pointing to the March for Our Lives anti-gun violence demonstrations, led by high schoolers, in Washington, D.C., and around the globe. He also knocked “old men” in power.

Judging by how the mainstream media relates to internet youth culture, I suspect this strategy is going to backfire. A few prominent liberal loudmouths elevated by the mainstream media are not a grassroots trend. Even though ignorant, kids are going to recognize when they’re being used by those in authority.

And the grey-haired Obama isn’t going to get very far insulting old men in power.
