Women of ‘the View’ Silenced when their Hypocrisy is Exposed

Meghan McCain, the daughter of RINO Senator John McCain (R-AZ), is hardly a rockstar in conservative circles.

However, she’s the kind of conservative that the mainstream media is comfortable with, so she does serve an important purpose. While most conservatives dismiss her as a moderate to left-leaning Republican, from time-to-time she delivers important wake up calls to the left.

Her most recent foray into usefulness took place earlier this week when she unmasked the hypocrisy that much of the media wallows in.

If you’ve been paying  attention you know that the biggest story of this past week was the revelation of how the Trump campaign used Facebook to help them win the election. Some of the deep dive analytics that is used in a campaign can be a bit… tawdry, but it’s hardly new. In fact, the methods that were causing such an uproar this week were used by a previous presidential campaign. The methods that were causing such consternation in the media this past week, barely registered a yawn… when President Obama’s campaign was using them.

Trending: Hillary Clinton Says Something Absolutely Insane

“I don’t completely understand this scandal now in the sense that this has been happening since 2012. The Obama campaign did this brilliantly. They used micro-targeting and data mining,” McCain explained to her stunned cohosts. “The double standard I don’t understand right now is… it happened with Obama, and it was lauded by the media as being genius. And now the Trump campaign did it, and it’s a Cambridge Analytica scandal.”

When her leftwing costars recovered enough to try to respond, they did so half-heartedly and with commentary like – when Obama did it, he was simply ‘pushing his message,’ but Trump was spreading ‘misinformation.’

McCain was ready though, laying out the details from all of the stories that were run on the social media data diving in the past, and from the stories of Obama team members themselves.

She finished by again noting the blatant hypocrisy that the media had exhibited with this story, “It is interesting to me that there wasn’t a problem with it when the Obamas did it, and now there’s a big problem with it when Trump did it.”

If Meghan McCain can consistently turn in moments like this, she may yet prove her value to conservatism.

The media’s bias and hypocrisy needs to be pointed out early, and often, especially on their very own platforms.
