Out with the Old: Cohn Departs from Trump Administration

Top White House economic adviser Gary Cohn has been added to the list of high profile departures from the Trump administration.

Cohn is allegedly breaking with Trump over the planned tariffs on our steel and aluminum imports. Perhaps he thinks him leaving will change Trump’s course on the matter? Highly unlikely. Sorry, Gary.

Trump did say he was going to drain the swamp…..looks like he is accomplishing that on both sides!

“I am grateful to the president for giving me this opportunity and wish him and the administration great success in the future,” Cohn continued.

“Gary has been my chief economic advisor and did a superb job in driving our agenda, helping to deliver historic tax cuts and reforms and unleashing the American economy once again,” said President Trump.

“He is a rare talent, and I thank him for his dedicated service to the American people,” he added.
