What We’re Reading March 13, 2014

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday March 13, 2014.

An explosion rocked New York City today bringing back some bad memories for many folks.

The Chinese believe they may have found the missing plane from Malaysia using satellite imagery.

Russia is tightening its grip on the Crimean peninsula.

New Zealand is raising its interest rates – which means it will be the first western nation to end record-low borrowing costs.

The very public argument between the Senate and the CIA has been years in the making…

President Obama threatens to veto bills which would require him to follow the law.

Representative Paul Ryan(R-WI) is working very hard to get amnesty passed through Congress.

College group bans white people from a “diversity” happy hour planned event. No white people allowed – sounds very diverse.

The new SAT is not a good test… and it’s nowhere near as tough as the world’s toughest tests.

The USA is having its coldest 6-month period since 1912.
