Trump on DACA Fix: ‘Republicans Want This More than Democrats’

On Saturday, President Trump stated that contrary to what people may believe, Republicans actually want a solution to DACA more than Democrats. He called also out Dems for using the situation for political gain.

Trump tweeted, “Republicans want to fix DACA far more than the Democrats do. The Dems had all three branches of government back in 2008-2011, and they decided not to do anything about DACA. They only want to use it as a campaign issue. Vote Republican!”

Trump is just calling it how he sees it though. It is no secret that Democrats only care about things that will give them a leg up in an election. They prey on people’s emotions.

Others are starting to notice it too.

Immigration activists have finally realized that Democrats do not actually care about the outcome of Dreamers at all. They don’t care about the people themselves, but rather just the benefits of how they would help their elections.

Activists are angry about being sold out by 73 Congress Democrats, seven of which were members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, after they voted in favor of a bipartisan bill that did not include DACA.

DACA recipient Greisa Martinez Rosas said at an activism network, “Last night immigrant young people and people of conscience fighting for justice were betrayed by both parties.”
