Uganda President Yoweri Museveni responded to the alleged “sh*thole countries” comment that Trump has been accused of saying.
After a meeting with top Republicans and Democrats, it was stated that Trump referred to countries like Haiti and Africa as “sh*thole countries.” I am sure the Senator Dick Durbin, who started the rumor, intended for it to do much harm, but President Trump maintains his innocence on ever calling other countries such an explicit word.
In fact, powerful African leader Museveni is standing by our President, telling his country’s legislature in Kampala that he “loves” Trump.
He said admits that African governments need some serious work, he said, “I love Trump because he tells Africans frankly. The Africans need to solve their problems.”
Museveni appeared to agree that some African governments have systemic problems.
MacCallum reported Trump still denies he used the obscenity, but confirmed he used tough language while speaking to the bipartisan group.
Museveni has been Uganda’s president since 1986.
