Senator Jeff Flake, AKA Jake the snowflake, gave a passionate speech on the Senate floor on Wednesday about how he thinks Trump is ruining our country.
The RINO claims that President Trump is inspiring dictators and authoritarians. He said, “Mr. President, every word that a president utters projects American values around the world,” Flake continued, “Not only has the past year seen an American president borrow despotic language to refer to the free press, but it seems he has in turn inspired dictators and authoritarians with his own language. This is reprehensible.”
This is not the first time he has blasted the president. When he announced his retirement from Senate (with can’t come quick enough) he also gave harsh criticisms of Trump and whined about his use of the phrase, “fake news.”
“It is past time to stop excusing or ignoring or, worse, endorsing these attacks on the truth. For if we compromise the truth for the sake of our politics, we are lost,” Flake said.

Of course the White House fired back at the Senator, claiming his statements are utterly ridiculous.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “He is, I think, looking for some attention.”
“He went to Cuba a few weeks ago and served as a mouthpiece for the oppressive Cuban government,” she continued, “He is not criticising the president because is he against oppression. He is criticizing the president because he has terrible poll numbers.”
She said that just the fact that she stands up and takes questions proves that the Trump administration welcomes “access to the media every day.”
“I’m standing right here taking questions. The president does so regularly. And to act as if we are anything but open to that back-and-forth exchange is utterly ridiculous,” Sanders concluded.
