Trump has been my main man since the day he won the Republican primary. I have fiercely defended him and the ‘America first’ agenda. However, for the first time, I am not sure I can defend our president.
Trump is looking like he will cave on DACA amnesty and illegal immigration, and weakness is not a good look on him.
Even Tucker Carlson is ripping Trump on his remarks during the meeting with top Democrats and Republicans.
Trump allowed the press to film the meeting, which included Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), Mike McCaul (R-Texas) and Sens. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
Carlson said he was surprised that Trump told the legislators that he “trusted them” to craft an immigration reform plan without his input.
Thanks to all of the Republican and Democratic lawmakers for today’s very productive meeting on immigration reform. There was strong agreement to negotiate a bill that deals with border security, chain migration, lottery and DACA. https://t.co/SdqAQ3aL3z pic.twitter.com/8DYHZHspAy

He said he was even more surprised Trump verbally agreed to sign what they eventually send him.
Carlson said Trump should not let Democrats make America “atone for imaginary sins against the world” and “legalize hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants now” without any immediate corresponding conservative policy like a border wall.
“Once the president agrees to let [illegal immigrants] jump to the head of the line… the [immigration] negotiation is over,” Carlson continued, “What was the point of running for president?”
If Trump betrays his voter base, then he could face a revolt and Democrats will take the congress and Senate back.
He said that Trump’s marquee campaign promise was an end to illegal immigration and that it was the single most important issue that separated him from Hillary Clinton.
“Say goodbye to borders, they are done,” Tucker added.
