Are We Being Punk’d? McConnell Now a “Fan” of Trump’s Tweets

Either we are being pranked or Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is actually coming around to President Trump.

McConnell is now a fan of Trump’s tweeting, even if many lawmakers are not. Trump eve called for McConnell’s replacement as Senate leader on Twitter once.

However, that is not the only time that Trump has called out the RINO.

For example, in August, Trump tweeted, “Can you believe that Mitch McConnell, who has screamed Repeal & Replace for 7 years, couldn’t get it done. Must Repeal & Replace ObamaCare!”

Two weeks later he said, “The only problem I have with Mitch McConnell is that, after hearing Repeal & Replace for 7 years, he failed! That should NEVER have happened!”

In reality, Trump isn’t wrong in his harsh standards for McConnell. The Kentucky lawmaker should have absolutely been able to repeal ObamaCare, however he was more busy attacking Trump rather than being a leader.

Fox News Insider reports:

A reporter asked McConnell at a recent press availability how his relationship has changed – if at all – with Trump.

“Regarding the president’s tweeting habits, I haven’t been a fan until this week,” McConnell said, smiling.

Trump used Twitter this past week to praise the passage of the tax reform legislation, which McConnell helped shepherd through the Senate.
