Report: McConnell Worried About GOP Losing House and Senate in 2018

Head RINO Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is reportedly worried about losing the House AND the Senate in 2018.

Perhaps he should have been thinking about that when he started backing Democrats in elections. For example, when he refused to support Republican candidate Judge Roy Moore in the special election for Senate in Alabama.

Once Democrat Doug Jones beat Moore, the possibility of a Democratic Senate became reality.

Politico reports that there is “widespread concern heading into 2018” amid Conservative lawmakers. However, they are allegedly worried about President Trump’s influence on the races, rather than their own.

According to Independent Journal Review:

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is also reportedly concerned heading into 2018 and has warned donors that swing district Republican lawmakers could retire rather than seek re-election.

Numerous Republican lawmakers have already announced they won’t seek re-election, increasing the chances Democrats pick up key victories next year.

However, White House political director Bill Stepien appears to be confident that positive economic growth and newly passed historic tax cuts will be enough to ensure the president continues to have the political capital to pursue his agenda throughout the remainder of his first term.

I find it interesting that the very people who often oppose President Trump and his “America first” agenda are the ones now worrying about losing the GOP foothold. They should have been looking at things in the long run, rather than attempting to sabotage Trump in every way possible.
