Are Republicans Ignoring Bill Priestap? [VIDEO]

Bill Priestap was Peter Strzok’s boss but he hasn’t been mentioned by name in the news in quite a while.

From what Google News tells me, Bill Priestap has not been mentioned in the news since early October.

In fact, if I search for just his last name, it doesn’t turn up anything after July, which makes me wonder about Google’s algorithm.

Who is Bill Priestap? That question is addressed at length in this thread by the Twitter account of the Conservative Treehouse.

When James Comey was asked why he didn’t inform Congress about the investigation of Candidate Donald Trump, he claimed he did so because of the Director of Counter Intelligence, but didn’t say his name:

So, when Politico claims that “GOP lawmaker: Top FBI officials will be subpoenaed,” I wonder why Priestap isn’t mentioned.

Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) to subpoena top officials at the FBI and Justice Department in their ongoing inquiry into claims of bias against President Donald Trump.

Republicans have zeroed in on FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, top counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, FBI attorney Lisa Page, and former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr and his wife, Nellie, who reportedly worked for Fusion GPS, the firm that compiled opposition research on Trump in 2016.

[…]

Democrats have dismissed the complaints as a sideshow, noting that FBI agents are expressly permitted to have political views, so long as they don’t act on them to taint investigations. So far, they say, no evidence has shown Strzok or Page took any actions based on their dislike of Trump. Their texts also revealed disdain for other political figures on both sides of the aisle.

No, there is every reason to believe that Strzok and Page have attempted a coup based on their opposition to Trump!

But how has Bill Priestap’s name not been mentioned in any of these stories. Will he be subpoenaed?
