GOP Campaign Chairman: ‘I Hope Jones will Vote with Republicans’

Would you bring a thief into your home and say, ” I hope he does the right thing and doesn’t steal from me”? What about a murderer, and hope he does the right thing by not murdering you?

No, you wouldn’t do that. So what on earth makes the GOP so foolishly think that elected Senate Democrat Doug Jones would “do the right thing” and vote with Republicans?

In a harrowing loss, Republican Judge Roy Moore was beat out by rival Jones for the U.S. Senate seat from Alabama. This is the first democratic win from the deeply red state in 25 years.

The Hill reports:

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), chairman of the National Republican Senate Committee, said Tuesday that Alabama voters determined Roy Moore is “unfit to serve,” adding that he hopes Democrat Doug Jones will vote with Republicans.

He said, “I hope Senator-elect Doug Jones will do the right thing and truly represent AL by choosing to vote with the Senate Repub Majority.”

The Associated Press called the race for Jones shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Moore was plagued by allegations of sexual misconduct, including accusations that he made advances on teenagers when he was in his 30s.

Many people seem to forget that he is simply accused of these things. Moore adamantly denies the accusations and maintains his innocence. His main accuser admitted to forging part of a note that she claims proves sexual misconduct from 40 years ago.

Hello people?? Wake up! The left will continue to use propaganda and false statements to win elections. It’s a dirty game.

Gardner was also one of the Republicans who called for Moore to be expelled if he won the election.
