What We’re Reading July 1, 2013

It’s summertime and if you live out West it’s officially stinking hot. High temps in some western cities are breaking records, and it’s probably not the best time to venture outside.

If you can’t go outside, the best thing to do is to stay inside and surf the World Wide Web.

However, if you know anything about the web – you know that it’s a massive entity built to waste your time.

Your time is valuable, so instead of searching for the good stuff on your own, let us help. Here’s what we’re reading on July 1, 2013.

And so it begins… in Florida a gay “married” man has been approved for a green card thanks to his marital status.

Um. What is wrong with people? Russian teenagers were recently arrested – the charges were “decapitating a homeless man and using his head as a football”. Yikes. FYI, if you’re American a “football” is actually a soccer ball.

Lastly, the UK Daily Mail described a recent Rolling Stones concert as “Glastonbury’s Night of the Living Dead“. Awesome.
