Arizona Senator Jeff Flake is just that, a FLAKE! The RINO (Republican In Name Only) should truly think about swapping party lines because he votes for things more like a liberal than a conservative.
Not only does Jeff have weak Republican values, but he is also weak on immigration. That is a stead that we absolutely need to have solid, brick walls on. Pun intended. (Build that wall!)
Flake revealed that the real reason he voted “yes” for Trump’s tax reform was because he was allegedly promised amnesty for DACA children by GOP leadership if he did so. Flake claims that before the alleged promise, he was planning on voting against the tax break.
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) has revealed that he’s been promised an amnesty for nearly 800,000 illegal aliens by the Senate Republican leadership so long as he votes in favor of a year-end tax reform bill.
In a statement, Flake — a longtime advocate for mass immigration and amnesty — said he was originally going to vote against the tax reform plan, but was promised by GOP leadership that if he voted in favor of the bill, he would be backed later on by leadership with a plan to give amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have been shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
First of all, if he truly was promised an amnesty deal, who was he promise by and why?? Is there a deal in the works that we are not aware of? Perhaps the Democrats’ threat of a government shutdown has forced a hand?
Los Angeles Times reports that there is, in fact, a behind the scenes plan being worked on:
Congress has been working behind the scenes on a legislative alternative to DACA, the Obama-era program that provides recipients with permits to work and remain temporarily in the country.
Trump said he would end the program next year, but the president has also pushed Congress to figure out a solution for the Dreamers. Flake’s said he secured a seat at the table.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad we had Flake’s vote for the tax bill. However, if he was bought with a promise of amnesty for illegal immigrants and their children, then I say this is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals.
