Donald Trump Takes Responsibility on Twitter: ‘It Was Me’

President Donald Trump was up early on Wednesday morning, tweeting up a truth storm.

After he negotiated to get the three UCLA basketball players released from China after they shoplifted earlier this month, Trump was attacked by the father of one of the players. The president calls the Father, LaVar Ball as a “poor man’s version of Don King” and “ungrateful fool.”

Trump said, “It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence — IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair.”

BOOM! Those three words showed just how powerful President Trump really is: “IT WAS ME!”

“LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you,” Trump continued, “But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!”

Trump has been bickering with Ball via the media since Trump negotiated the release. Although the UCLA player apologized for their actions but Ball is still criticizing President.

“I’m grateful for this UCLA team that stood strong beside us and made it possible for me to be sitting here in front of you all today,” Ball said, “I respect the amount of hard work they put in to get us back to the United States.”

Ball told the president to “stay in [his] lane,” and added, “Let him do his political affairs and let me handle my son, and let’s just stay in our lane.”

Sounds like Trump should have left them in China, if you ask me.
