Today’s Society: Conservatives are Parents, Liberals are Children

In today’s society, Conservatives are the parents and Liberals are their children. Before you roll your eyes, hear me out…

Think about it: children are reckless and do not think about the consequences of their actions. They do not even fully understand the consequences of their actions.

They do not realize that if they eat candy all day, they will have a tooth ache or belly ache later.

They do not realize that not brushing their teeth leads to cavities, not feeding their fish will cause it to die, and not bathing can cause health issues.

They don’t understand finances or paying bills. They simply live in the now, without a single thought of the future.

Here’s the thing: if we allow the crying children to have their way, they will finally shut up for a few days. They will fart about and have their fun. However, once they realize there’s no electric because the bills haven’t been paid, and there are roaches in the house because they did not clean up after themselves, they will begin to cry again.

We can’t have our cake and eat it too when it comes to many situations. Adults, AKA Conservatives, need to take charge.

When the children are crying for open borders, free healthcare, more taxes, free college, etc, they do not realize that in a few days, the country would be crumbling.

Even though giving in would shut them up for a little while, we cannot afford to watch everything fall apart to simply teach them a lesson.

If we want to teach them a lesson, let them go to Venezuela for a week. They will be BEGGING to come back home to do their chores and brush their teeth.
