Conway on Politicizing Texas: It is ‘Disrespectful to the Dead’

The left’s rush to politicize the unfortunate massacre in Texas on Sunday is disgusting and disrespectful.

While we know that the left has absolutely no shame in being disrespectful, it is still unsettling. This is no different than their response to the Las Vegas massacre. Before the bodies of the dead even had time to run cold, Hillary Clinton and other liberals were tweeting about gun control and bashing the NRA.

This situation is no different.

On Monday, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said, “The rush to judgment, particularly by people who just see politics and Trump derangement in every single thing they do, it doesn’t help the victims,” Conway said during an interview on “Fox & Friends.”

She added, “And it’s disrespectful to the dead.”

The Hill reports:

Conway’s comments come after a man opened fire at a church in Texas, killing more than two dozen people ranging in age from 77 years to 18 months.

“There is evil among us,” Conway said, before again blasting those who see the tragedy as political.

“It’s so beyond any type of reasonable response that anyone should have — why people see politics immediately,” she said.

She went after people for “taking to Twitter in the comfort of their very luxurious lives” and “pointing fingers.”

On Monday, President Donald Trump spoke out about the shooting from overseas in Tokyo, and said that this is not a “guns situation” but rather a “mental health problem at the highest level.”
