For the love of all things good, when will this insanity end? Democrats are by far the sorest losers I have ever laid eyes on. They absolutely cannot accept a loss and move on.
Liberals have tried everything possible to reverse Donald Trump’s win. They have concocted scandals, rumors, and even major collusions to bring our president down. However, none of them could stick because none of them were true.
Now, top Democratic donor Tom Steyer has launched a campaign with one goal in mind: impeach President Donald Trump.
The billionaire environmentalist sent out letters to lawmakers and governors nationwide, pleading with them to stand up to Trump because he is a “dangerous” president.
Steyer even created a website for the cause, called “Need to Impeach”.
In his campaign video, he says, “[Trump has] brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice at the FBI, and in direct violation of the Constitution, he’s taken money from foreign governments and threatened to shut down news organizations that report the truth.”
Is it just me or does he sound like he is trying to mimic Eminem’s tasteless rap about Trump?
Steyer continued, “If that isn’t the case for impeaching and removing a dangerous president, then what has our government become?”
Uh, maybe breaking the law would be a case? An act which President Trump has not done!
The Hill obtained the letter in which Steyer urged all 50 governors and 2,000 city mayors nationwide to take public stances against Trump, slamming the president for his “systemic attacks” against the U.S. in neglecting his lawful duty to enforce ObamaCare and pulling out of the Paris climate agreement.
“A Republican Congress once impeached a president for far less, yet today people in Congress and his own administration know that this president is a clear and present danger, who’s mentally unstable and armed with nuclear weapons. And they do nothing,” Steyer said in the video.
The video comes as Democrats are preparing efforts to retake the House and Senate in the 2018 midterm elections, which Steyer suggested in the letter would be key to pursuing such charges against the president.
In order for a president to be impeached, there would need to not only be a majority vote in the House, but also a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate.
Unfortunately for Democrats, you cannot impeach the president for the simple fact that you do not like him.
