Trouble in Trumpland? Sarah Palin Says, ‘A Vote for Roy Moore is a Vote for MAGA Agenda’

Things are heating up in Trumpland as Alabama citizens prepare to vote for the next U.S. Senator from the Heart of Dixie state. Trump is campaigning for Luther Strange, but Judge Roy Moore is the guy he should be backing.

As Breitbart points out, Senators threatened to retire if Moore won in order to get Trump to go to Alabama and visibly support Strange. Kellyanne Conway also joined her influence to get the President and Vice-President to go to Alabama.

Despite Trump’s backing of Strange, Steve Bannon has endorsed Moore, and now Sarah Palin has joined the Moore train as well.

Breitbart reports:

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said a vote for Alabama grassroots Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore is a vote for the economic nationalist agenda that got President Donald Trump elected and not a vote against Trump himself.

Palin made her remarks at a raucous Thursday evening rally for Moore after Moore’s debate with D.C. establishment Senator Luther Strange.

Palin told attendees, “A vote for Judge Moore isn’t a vote against the president. It’s a vote for the people’s agenda that elected the president.”

Moore is currently leading in the polls after the runoff election on Tuesday, and while most Alabama voters support Trump, they have indicated that they will be voting for Moore.

Moore is believed to be more loyal to Trump and America than Strange, who would likely kiss up to the establishment and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Economic nationalists have been disheartened that Trump has caved on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program for certain illegal immigrants, made deals with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has had second thoughts about pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, and is not prioritizing his signature campaign promise to build the wall.

Palin said, “We voted to put America first. Not the political elite that had ignored us for decades,” she continued, “We voted for a big beautiful wall, not for another amnesty deal.”

Palin concluded, “We’re sending Trump someone who has our back — not Mitch McConnell’s. Make no mistake: Big Luther is Mitch McConnell’s guy.”
