What We’re Reading February 12, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday February 12, 2014.

If conservatives can push the country back to the right – they may end up having to thank President Obama for his help. (I know! Crazy, right?)

The NSA spying scandal has bigger negative implications than you realize. Not only is it making a mockery of the 4th Amendment but it is also wreaking havoc on the separation of powers. Rand Paul is joining a class action lawsuit to stop the NSA’s domestic spying program.

Reporters without Borders has just published a report that finds that the freedom of the press in America has suffered under President Obama’s administration.

Justice Clarence Thomas argues that Americans are far too sensitive about racial issues.

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio called the police to try and help out a friend who had been arrested. Can we say abuse of authority?

A Washington, D.C. man faces prison for having an inoperable shotgun shell in his home. Why yes, Washington, D.C. is a fascist city.

Don’t date liberals.
