Finally! Obamacare Repeal is in Full Swing

Mission “Repeal and Replace Obamacare” has been deadlocked since Trump took office. Despite the bills taken to lawmakers for a vote, all of the “replacements” were being shot out of the sky every single time. The outlook appeared grim, until now.

We are looking at an Obamacare repeal, which is what should have happened in the first place! Repeal it now and figure out the rest later! In fact, part of the repeal should be to open healthcare insurance across state lines. This will kill the monopolization within each state and healthcare systems will be forced to compete against each other. This will result in more options and lower prices.

Mitch McConnell has finally relinquished his first instance on both a repeal and a replace, and is instead pursuing simply the repeal of Obamacare.

The Daily Caller reports:

“Regretfully, it is not apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure Obamacare will not be successful,” McConnell followed in a statement shortly after.

“So,” he continued, “in the coming days, the Senate will vote to take up the House bill with the first amendment in order being what a majority of the Senate already supported in 2015 and that was vetoed by then-President Obama: a repeal of Obamacare with a two-year delay to provide for a state transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable care.”

We will do not have many details at the moment, but as the Federalist Papers reports, it does appear like this will be smilier to what the Daily Signal spoke of in January:

Details are sparse, but conservative senators are urging Senate leaders to use legislation from 2015 as a floor, or minimum, for what should be done this year.

That bill phased out parts of Obamacare over two years, repealed the health care law’s individual and employer mandates, and did away with fines for not complying. It also eliminated the law’s Medicaid expansion, medical device tax, and Cadillac tax on high-cost plans.

Donald Trump is also in agreement with the clean repeal and figuring out a replacement down the road. He tweeted out:
