A Malaysian Islamic group has advocated a boycott of Starbucks for supporting same-sex “marriage.”
The story even admits that the Islamic group is simply following “Islamic principles.” So, how does the media report that Islam opposes homosexuality and yet deny any basis for Donald Trump voters? Easy. They gratuitously describe the Islamic group as advocates of Malaysian “nationalism.” Since the group is Malaysian and supports Islam within Malaysia, they can deny they are lying. But they are obviously filling their story with noise to distract readers from asking why it is so important to import more Muslims while trying to claim that homosexual activity is normal and the definition of marriage must be altered to fit that normal behavior.
Thus, the Chicago Tribune reports, “Malaysia, Indonesia Muslim Groups Call for Starbucks Boycott.”
Malaysian group Perkasa, which supports a hard-line form of Islam and nationalism, this week called on its more than 500,000 members to stay away from Starbucks coffee shops. This week and last, leaders of Indonesia’s second largest mainstream Muslim group, Muhammadiyah, with an estimated 29 million members, denounced the chain.
Perkasa said in a statement that the Malaysian government should revoke the trading license given to Starbucks and other companies such as Microsoft and Apple that support LGBT rights and same-sex marriage.
