It is a common misconception that the Confederate flag is a symbol racism. It’s sad that people make everything about race and cannot see past the race baiting propaganda.

In the video below, you can see a woman who appears to be at some type of car show, having a meltdown because of a General Lee replica. At one point she even gets mad at a man for being a “man of color” and being okay with it. She tries to guilt him into feeling badly about something that should not make him feel bad.

She continues to makes a huge scene out of nothing. It is nothing more than a desperate cry for attention.

MYTH  –   The Confederate Battle Flag represents racism today.

FACT  –   The Confederate Battle Flag today finds itself in the center of much controversy and hoopla going on in several states. The cry to take this flag down is unjustified. It is very important to keep in mind that the Confederate Battle Flag was simply just that. A battle flag. It was never even a National flag, so how could it have flown over a slave nation or represented slavery or racism? This myth is continued by lack of education and ignorance. Those that villify the Confederate Battle Flag are very confused about history and have jumped upon a bandwagon with loose wheels.

This goes along with all of the Confederate monuments that are being torn down because they are suddenly seen as racist. You cannot erase the past. We must learn from it and move on. In no way was slavery a moral thing. However, just because we don’t like certain parts of history does not mean we should tear it down. Next they will try to burn history books.
