Due to the close proximity of the elementary school and the middle school, they were both shut down for the safety of the children and staff.
Although a false alarm, Police are hailing those who called in as a “hero” because it is important to call in you see, hear, or smell something strange. It may be nothing, like this report, but it could end up being something serious and you may end up saving someone’s life!
All clear Braden River Middle School.Turned out to be teacher with antique rifle for class. Kudos to public for see something say something.

I wonder if it was called in as an “assault rifle”….That just makes me cringe to think about!
